Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by Cream, Fresh Cream.
This was released on Reaction Records in 1966 and has catalogue number 593001. This is the rarer mono pressing.
Matrix Numbers- 593001 A2 593001 B1
Condition: The sleeve has some discolouring marks, a few lamination creases and buffing to the edges, No tears, complete and graded at VG. Please check the pictures for clarification.
This comes with its original inner sleeve that has some yellowing, (no edge splits).
Labels: Both labels are clean, under closer examination some spider spindle trails can be seen on each side, the centre hole shows little signs of wear.
Vinyl- both sides retain there new shine, when examined under a strong light numerous feather scratches can be seen and one light scuff mark.
I have played this through both sides and found that the above mentioned scratches and scuff mark are completely non-audible. I was a little surprised to find this has such good sound quality. Quiet breaks and entries, no fading, distortion or dragging heard whatsoever. The music itself plays with very litttle lessening in sound quality and does not suffer in any reduction through wear. Other than the very occasional quiet crackle this sounds new.
This one is graded at a strict VG+ despite sounding near mint, simply down-graded for the feather scratches and because it has been played more than a few times.
