COMUS - FIRST UTTERANCE. UK ORIGINAL PROG/PSYCH/FOLK LP. ULTRA RARE!
1971 UK original first pressing stereo LP on Dawn label. Catalogue number DNLS3019. Matrix numbers - side one: DNLS 3019A - 3 *T                                side two: DNLS 3019B - 3 *T Complete with rare lyric insert. 
RECORD CONDITION: Excellent+, just a few light paper scuffs from the record having been removed from it's inner sleeve which do not affect playback. The labels on both sides are bright and clean with no writing, tears or stains. There are two or three light spindle traces on side one and approximately six on side two.
SLEEVE CONDITION: Excellent. The unlaminated gatefold sleeve is in lovely, clean condition. There is some minor fading to the top edge of the sleeve and two small creases on the rear cover adjacent to the spine. I noted a tiny amount of rubbing on the bottom edge of the sleeve which is hardly noticeable and what appears to be the slightest evidence of ringwear to the front and rear cover. I am being ultra - critical here and most of these very minor faults will only be noticed under close examination.
AUDIO GRADING: I play grade records fully using a high quality moving coil cartridge. This LP plays superbly with strong, distortion - free sound. Except for a little static on the run - in groove before the start of the music, playback quality throughout both sides of this record was near faultless.     Records are graded to Record Collector Grading System definitions.
PACKING: All records are cleaned on a professional quality record cleaning machine and placed into a new poly-lined inner sleeve. The original inner will be included. Record covers are put into a pvc outer sleeve and the record removed from the cover to prevent seam splits. The record will be posted in a new cruciform record box with additional stiffeners.
