Description
Here is a VERY RARE cassette that Aaron Cometbus (w/ the help of friends assembling) put together and released on BBT Tapes in 1991. I've had 3 over time, lowered down to 2 copies, and now I'm just gonna stick with 1 copy because I'm in need of cash and this is the only cassette release I have doubles of.
This cassette contains 45 unreleased songs from 35 bands between 1981 and 1988.
WHY THIS TAPE IS SO IMPORTANT TO MUSIC!
BASIC RADIO - Tim and Matt from Rancid.....there 1st band together, before Operation Ivy
S.A.G. - Crimpshrine before they were Crimpshrine...Includes Jesse Michaels of Operation Ivy too!
Hunde Scheibe - Band featuring Dave Mello of Operation Ivy and Joey Schaaf of Dance Hall Crashers and LJs (tim and joey acoustic)
Crimpshrine - Band w/ Aaron Cometbus who went on to Pinhead Gunpowder w/ Billie Joe of Green Day and also features Jeff Ott from Fifteen
Sweet Baby Jesus - Went on to become Sweet Baby and were an early staple in the Gilman scene
Soup - Were the 1st ever band to play Gilman St.!
There are tons of other bands on here to went onto a million other projects and this tape is historical!
