Come Aboard! QE2 (Sceptre SALR1216 1968)

Hens teeth rare and highly sought after promotional album for the QE2 featuring Richard Baker narrating you around the then brand spanking new cruise liner. When you and Richard get to the discoteque the track the 'girl DJ' drops to show it off is an killer piece of uptempo psych madness from the very obscure Black Cat Bones. I'd love to know how they were chosen for this. Good call whoever was behind it. This is the full 3 minute track with a pounding beat, psyched up guitar and superb vocals. This was only ever issued on this album which was given to QE2 passengers to promote their then new ship. A stunning psych obscurity recently comped by Cherrystones making the original all the more in demand.-full mp3 -

The record is in beautiful condition with just a light scuff or two. Judging by the spindle marks it's obviouly only been played once or twice and plays beautifully. The sleeve has some fairly light general wear and a little creasing. Great copy.
