Dinu Lipatti 1917-1950 – A Tribute to the memory of the legendary Romanian pianist Dinu Lipatti. Includes all the recordings he made for the French Columbia label, with works by Schumann; Grieg; Chopin; J. S. Bach; Enesco; Ravel; Scarlatti; Liszt; Schubert – Top Rare Original 1955 French Mono 5 LP Box Set on Columbia FCX 491/495. Includes the original superb Deluxe 24-page loose sheets booklet with fantastic photos and text in French about his life and career. Includes also the original high quality Columbia inner sleeves.
Box Condition: VG++ (some edge/spine wear, small seam split and shop sticker on the lower left corner)
Record Condition:
FCX 491: VG+ (one small surface scratch on the beginning of side A, otherwise VG++)
FCX 492/5: VG++ (some light surface hairlines).
