Apart from my first copy that I sold on eBay very recently, when did you last see an ORIGINAL of this almost 50-year old item offered for sale and, importantly, when are you likely to see one again???!!!
This was the second and without doubt hardest of the Ivory Joe Hunter 45s to track down. As you'll see from the photo this is guaranteed to be the ORIGINAL 1957 UK 1st pressing. Any fan of Ivory Joe Hunter, the Rock & Roll/DooWop sound or 50s music in general, will simply have to have this in their collection!!!!
Grade (labels): The classic purple labels are in STUNNING condition with no wear and clear vibrant GOLD print. There is, of course, NO unwanted handwriting and absolutely NO spindle marks!! This beauty came from a music library and, aside from a very feint ink stamp on either side, the labels are mint, mint, mint!!!
Grade (vinyl): Most of these singles had been played on a heavy stylus and so are usually found totally worn out, almost unplayable. However, this record is strictly graded at MINT and is genuinely believed to be UNPLAYED!!!! IT WOULD BE HARD TO IMAGINE EVER FINDING ANOTHER COPY AS FANTASTIC AS THIS!!
Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT Record Collector grading standards - it's simply not in my interest to do otherwise!!!! Brilliant!!!!
