Description
Here we have one of the rarest Britsh Jazz LP's. This is the Ultra rare Private Press Collin Bates Trio debut LP on the super rare Troubadour label from 1967 (No. 265). This LP features Alan James on Bass, Bart Monaghan on Drums and of course Collin Bates on Piano. This is perhaps one of the rarest British Jazz LP's and never surfaces and hardly ever turns up on the open market. Dont miss out on this super rare item. A LOW START PRICE AND NO RESERVE AUCTION. HAPPY BIDDING. Tracks are:
Side 1: 1. Waltz For Martha 2. Autumn Afternoon 3. Georgia On My Mind
Side 2: 1. Chick From Cyprus Crescent 2. What A Diff'rence A Day Made 3. Nancy (With Her Laughing Face) 4. Brew!
Disc: EX: Due to only a few, very light surface markings that have no affect on the sound of this disc at all. This disc sounds and looks amazing. A superb copy of this mega rare LP.
Sleeve: EX+: Due to only one or two very small laminate creases dotted around the edges and a crease to the stuck on label on the front sleeve (see pic). This is a superb copy of this mega rare sleeve and never turns up like this.
Labels: Are both clean and tidy with only very few, very faint spindal markings around the centre hole on each side.
Sound Quality: This album sounds superb throughout. Crisp and clear with no distortion. A really great sounding copy.
