Whithout the slightest shadow of a doubt, this has to be the greatest Rockadelic album ever made! Maybe to some that isnt that much of an achievement, but this album - culled from an acetate that sold for 10.000 after being discovered - is also the greatest psych album to come out of Texas in the sixties. It's nothing personal "Easter Everywhere", it's just that Cold Sun with their elecric autoharp pinned down a deeply lysergic sound that flows so much more organic compared to the jug-bubbling of the Elevators. Sorry for the hype, but this record is so far up in my person faves, that I get carried away by it.

This version here is the first and best version of the Cold Sun album: it's mastered from the original Sonobeat tapes and includes a color-foto of the band live on stage and a one page insert detailing the songs and line up. It came out in 1990 as a limited and numbered edition of 300 (this being # 171). The record and sleeve are in perfect near mint condition!
