COAST ROAD DRIVE. Delicious and Refreshing Deram SML 1113. 1974
Incredibly rare UK Factory Sample LP of the highly collectable 1974 LP “Delicious and Refreshing” by Coast Road Drive.
Grading: -
Outer Sleeve: n/a
The record is housed in a plain generic poly lined sleeve which is well worn but fully intact. The album name is written on one side along with the matrix codes for each side of the LP. The sleeve is also date code 11/73 so would be the original sleeve fitting in with the LP’s release in 1974.
Vinyl : EX
The vinyl is in EX condition. In terms of hairline marks, there are relatively few, just one more slightly noticeable hairline on the B side. The B side has a quite an interesting and actually very attractive pattern (!) where the poly bag has contacted the LP in the intervening years. This pattern is cosmetic only and playback is not affected, but is worthy of note and I have tried to capture this in the photos.

The Labels are very clean, with no writing or other significant marks.
This is a very rare opportunity to own an extremely rare Factory sample of this rare and desirable prog classic on Deram / Decca.
Postage and Packing:
All records are placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping. Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s. These mailers are a high-grade type which reinforce the edges around the LP and as such they are larger and weigh more than standard mailers. My postage costs reflect the additional size and weight of the packaging that I use.
