PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
ULTRA RARE double-sided 45 rpm 7" metal acetate from 195?/196? recorded at MBS Recording Studios on South Wabash Avenue right here in Chicago and apparently mis-labeled and corrected as that is definitely Cliff on those grooves. This acetate was included in a jaw-dropping collection I purchased from an industry veteran and I know very little about it but it is unmistakably the real deal. Listen below and hear for yourself. High Class Baby is the same version that was released as a single in 1958 and Love is the version from Expresso Bongo from 1959. Both sides smoke. Was this planned to be released as a single and then abandoned? Anyone with ANY information at all on this one please get in touch. Acetate is in VG+ condition with a few light scuffs on the Love side. Don't sleep rockabilly collectors. If you've never seen it before you won't see it again.

GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
