PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. CLEAN! Sought after, rare British Progressive-psych gem from 1971 that does not show up much, especially with minty clean vinyl in beautiful pastel colored gatefold cover...

Mainly led by floating, flowing organ progressive/psych structures, similar in structure to the organ dominated 1st Atomic Rooster album & Aardvark meets the 1st Caravan and the instrumental segments of Soft Machine Vol II ... pleasant original compositions that have the sound collectors of prog psych highly seek....The band began by calling themselves "1,2,3" and played extensively at the Marquee club in London in the late 1960s, notably early in 1967, alongside bands such as The Nice, The Syn (later Yes), Jethro Tull, The Yardbirds and Jimi Hendrix. A young David Bowie wrote an enthusiastic newspaper article on the band. They were taken on by NEMS management company, run by Brian Epstein, in late 1967. After changing their name to The Clouds, they quickly got to work writing and recording the album Scrapbook, which was released in 1968 on Island Records. Deram (London) released the U.S. Export album in 1969, and it was not until 1971 that Clouds released this, their final album, Watercolour Days, arguably their best. Wakeman, Emerson, Lord, Tony Kay (Yes) WERE influenced by Clouds keyboardist Billy Ritchie, the whole concept of lead organ playing came from him...all through the well rounded comlex moves & arrangements you will here bits and pieces that will remind of classic period Nice, Yes, Soft Machine, King Crimson and the like...Clouds were hailed by critics but never pulled it off commercially, perhaps to ahead of their time...
