Classic Records RCA LSC-2134

The original RCA LP, licensed for release by RCA until the late 1960's and recorded in January and February of 1957, was among the earliest of the stereo recordings made by Decca/London.  Apparently a separate team of producer and engineer was assigned in each session for the mono and the stereo recordings.  The original RCA issue was only in print in stereo from September 1959 to September 1961 and is VERY scarce.

For reference to the original issue on RCA, see

The Abso!ute Sound:

      Issue #60, Page 126

This is a very early Factory-Sealed pressing of the mid-1990’s Classic Records issue, on 180-gram vinyl.
