Description
This is an unreleased
180 gram Test Pressing
of
"Flamenco Sketches"
by
Miles Davis
(Classic Records CS-8163 D45 / D33) (1997)
This record was never available as a single disc commercially. It features this song on both sides (9:26) and was intended to be a comparison record with one side mastered at 33 rpm, and the other at 45 rpm.
The alternate version of the song "Flamenco Sketches" was a bonus track on the "Kind Of Blue" LP and had previously been unreleased before Classic Records added it to their 2 LP album. I assume that is the version on this record, but I am not familiar enough with this recording to say for certain.
It was mastered by audiophile guru Bernie Grundman, as shown by his full (!) signature in the dead wax.
------------------------------------------------------
The record is in beautiful condition with no scratches or marks of any kind. The generic white jacket is in nice condition with no splits, but there is a bend mark at the upper right corner. It has been packed away in a non-smoking and pet free audiophile home.
The photos are of the actual item for sale.
