CIRKUS - CIRKUS ONE MATRIX A1/B1 Year: 1973 Cat: RCB1
- On offer here is a VERY RARE opportunity to bid on this monster prog classic that hardly ever comes up for sale! Only 1000 copies were privately pressed and distributed, mainly at their gigs which is where this copy was originally purchased. Who knows when one will next come up?
- The thin cardboard gatefold sleeve is very prone to wear, and this one has been stored in a plastic sleeve which has preserved it well. The front cover is flat with no loss of colour and a couple minor creases. The rear of the cover has a few light creases towards the lower edge and spine with a touch of ringwear fading. Inside the gatefold has virtually no signs of wear. The top edges are unworn and the bottom edges have a touch of rubbing to the colour and front lower corner. The spine is rigid and quite legible. Spinal corners have only very slight wear. The sleeve opening has no feathering. Considering the fragility of the sleeve it is graded EX
- The original thin plain white diecut paper inner is graded EX-. Record also has an anti stat inner supplied.
- The vinyl has a great gloss and looks newly pressed! Even under strong light there is just one slight paper wisp on Side 1 and a tiny mark at the beginning of Side 2, Track 1 and thats it! , The labels are delicately printed with only a few light spindle trails. Visually graded Near Mint . When played it matches the visual grading with superb dynamics and no noise in quieter passages or between tracks to give a totally engrossing listen! My records are graded in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
