CHRISTOPHER GIBSON SMILE RARE FOLK PSYCH LONER PRIVATE PRESS W INSERT RPC LP VG+
cover nice--just single name written in white area above b & w pic (back cover blank)--label nice & clean--vinyl has full lustre but a couple of (non-feel-able) scratches & while I hand-cleaned it twice, a professional cleaning should make it sound even better....some backgd crackle & a couple of pops--but also some nice quiet stretches to this incredibly rare, incredibly GREAT , RARE, RARE LP (did I say it's Rare as in impossible to find?)...basic late 60s sensibility w/some nice touches--great electric guitar solos, counterpointing the acoustic playing in really original ways...nice psych-ish vocals. I'm only selling it because it came from a friend & I can't pay him what it's worth, so hence up here...the only copy that I could find on line was more or less in this condition & sold for $250 five years ago...but I suspect it's worth far more....but we'll let the marketplace determine that...
Custom Pressed by Recorded Publications who pressed to order so there's no way of determining how many were made & I don't imagine there are all that many in existence out of the original run. Again, RARE! (so rare that it isn't even in Acid Archives, tho should be!!)
