This auction is for the rare 2 LP set on RIVERSIDE / /FOLKLORE SERIES RECORDS (Catalog # RLP-627 / 628) entitled

" THE ENGLISH AND SCOTTISH POPULAR BALLADS (THE CHILD BALLADS)" SUNG BY  EWAN MacCOLL and A.L. LLOYD
This wonderful 2 LP set is in beautiful condition The surface of side three on the second disc has some faint marks. The beautiful gatefold LP sleeve has the bound in book with historical background and lyrics to the ballads.  The top joint of the rear panel of the sleeve has a clean partial split. The corner's of the sleeve have a trace of light wear. A previous owners has written his name on the top of the rear panel.  Overall the sleeve is in very nice condition as are the LP's.
These recordings in this series are very difficult to locate and when found are usually in much lesser condition.
