CHARLIE RICH -- Lonely Weekends -- hard to find, original 1960 U.S. album. Insanely rare Rockabilly monster LP featuring smokin' hot classics inc. "Lonely Weekends," "Whirlwind," "Gonna Be Waitin'" and others. Charlie Rich emerged from the same Sun Records crucible as Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison, but wouldn't achieve true superstar status until his early 1970's country mega-hits. This, Rich's first album, was released on Sun founder Sam Phillips' subsidiary label, Phillips International. It sold poorly like most Early Rock and Rockabilly LP's at the time, and original copies almost never come up for sale. See photo for track listing.
