CHARLIE PARKER WITH STRINGS MERCURY  MG C-501 RARE 10" LITTLE LP FORMAT FROM 1951!
You are bidding on a very nice example of a rare Charlie Parker 10" Little LP on Mercury from 1951! A tough record to find in this format in any condition. I am not an expert in grading and will do my best to describe the condition. If you are a collector that insists upon mint condition this is not it. It is, however, an extremely nice record and sleeve!
SLEEVE(Front) The color is quite good on the front, nice, bright and crisp! The front cover has a few spots where the light, clear covering is peeling up. I am leaving it as is. No writing or stickers on the front. The two corners have dents with slight creasing , otherwise the front cover is very nice. Clean.
SLEEVE (Back)  Someone has written P.W.J. in black marker on the top, as evident in the photo. Otherwise the back is very nice considering the age of the item! No tears, drill holes or other distractions.
SEAMS: The top right seam has a small split of about 1/4". The bottom right seam has a split of approximately two inches. There is some minor flaking to the bottom and top. The spine is completely intact and quite nice!
RECORD (Label) No tape, stickers, writing or other distractions. The labels on both sides are quite nice. There are some tiny dents in the label on the B side. Nothing major. You have to look close to see them. 
RECORD (Vinyl) No cracks or chips. Some light scratches, more apparent on side B than A. Still has some shine to the vinyl.
MATRIX - The numbers on the A side are as follows: MG 55010 C-101----C-501. Because the C-501 appears to have been added at a later date is the reason I deemed it a 1951 release, as specified in the Goldmine book.
