Description

SPOTLITE 101-06:  'MODERN JAZZ:

The Stupendous Charlie Parker DIAL MASTERS Vol.1'. This fine 6LP set presents all the recordings made by Charlie Parker for Ross Russell's label between June 1945 (actually Red Norvo's Comet session) and December 1947, including all known alternate takes. As I'm sure you already know, these were among the recordings that really defined be-bop and established Parker as its leading proponent.

Each LP comes in its own sleeve with its own notes on the back. 

CONDITION: All 6 records N- (M-). The box has some very slight damage to the edges. The individual LP covers have minor damage to the spines, otherwise they are as new.
