On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Charles River Valley Boys called "Beatle Country" and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Orange Elektra label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT - THE RAREST LP ON THE UK ELEKTRA LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1967 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!   BUT THE BIG QUESTION FOR THIS LP WAS - WHY????

BY 1967 ELEKTRA WERE KNOWN IN THE UK FOR 2 MUSICAL GENRES.  AMERICAN PSYCH, FOLK, AND OCCASSIONALLY (LIKE TIM BUCKLEYS 1ST LP) A CROSS BETWEEN THE TWO!!!!  HOWEVER SOMEONE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE AN AMAZING IDEA TO SELL THIS LP IN THE UK - BY THE CHARLES RIVER VALLEY BOYS, NOT KNOWING THAT IT WAS DESTINED TO BECAME THE RAREST UK ELEKTRA LP EVER MADE!!!!  IT WAS GIVEN THE CAT NUMBER EKL 4006 - IT WAS SANDWICHED BETWEEN 2 STUNNING AMERICAN PSYCH RELEASES IN THE UK, LOVE 'DA CAPO' (EKL 4005) AND THE DOORS 1ST LP (EKL 4007).  THERE WAS NO PROMOTION MADE FOR THIS LP - AS IT WAS ALMOST AS IF, WELL ITS BEING RELEASED IN THE U.S. - SO WE MAY ASWELL RELEASE IT IN THE UK TOO.  NATURALLY NO ONE HAD A CLUE WHO THE CHARLES RIVER VALLEY BOYS ACTUALLY WERE (AND TODAY I WOULD SUGGEST THE SAME IS TRUE!) - AND THIS LP SUNK WITHOUT TRACE.  AND JUST TO EXPLAIN JUST HOW RARE THIS LP REALLY IS IN UK FORMATE - ONE OF THE BIGGEST COLLECTORS OF 'ELEKTRA' IN THE UK - TOLD ME IT TOOK HIM 5 YEARS TO FIND A COPY OF THIS LP - WELL AFTER THE REST OF HIS ELEKTRA COLLECTION WAS FINISHED!!!!  IT IS RUMOURED THAT ONLY 1 BATCH OF UK 1ST PRESSINGS WERE EVER MADE - WITH ONLY 200-300 COPIES EVER BEING SOLD (AND MOST OF THOSE WERE IN 'BARGAIN BINS'!)!!!!  THERE ARE MANY COLLECTORS OF THE UK ELEKTRA LABEL - AND THIS WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY BE THE ONE LP THAT IS COMPLETELY MISSING IN THAT COLLECTION!!!!  SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY - FOR THE CHANCES OF EVER FINDING ANOTHER UK MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP AGAIN - ARE VIRTUALLY ZERO!!!! 

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE1ST PRESS ORANGE 'TEXTURED' ELEKTRA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Elektra UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is EKL 4006 on the ORIGINAL Orange Elektra Label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! 

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  The record plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press MONO Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), possible 'tipping in' to the corner tips, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO sticker tears, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
