Bad Religion - Into the Unknown

This is one of the few that got away. I purchased this record at Django's Records in Portland, Oregon back in 1988. It still has its original sticker tag(upper left corner) at $4 dollars. I did not want to remove it so the cover wouldn't get damaged(see photo). The record vinyl is in VG condition. The cover I would say is VG/VG-. There is a cut-out hole in the lower right corner. Has some signs of "light" ringwear. Insert is in good shape as well. I put this on tape since it's purchase and it has been played twice since I have owned it. Just a shelf life for the 26 year old record. THIS IS NOT A BOOTLEG. A rarity on EBAY. Get this while you can as these are fetching $200-300.

Here it is: The forgotten Bad Religion album.
It’s never been released on CD! 10.000 copies have been pressed and just some of them have been sold back in 1983. Rumors say all remaining copies have been destroyed. Truth is that most of them went back to the Epitaph warehouse and have been sold to fans by Mr Brett's girlfriend over the years. She just kept a rest of 300.

If you ask fans from back in the days about the music they will tell you it‘s totally crap. In fact the use of uncommon ínstrumentation like synthesizers & acoustic guitars make this album sounding quite untypical for Bad Religion. The first time I heard this I thought I had purchased a Van Halen album.

The major problem was the first album - a hardcore punk milestone! Most of the fans did expect a second "hell" album. But this was one of the few efforts of Bad Religion to develop their style and not (like nowadays) just play slower from album to album. In a time hardcore was getting harder & faster, it was one of the first bands that was looking out for new influences like Alternative Rock.
