Killer funky Chappell LP from David Perian Orchestra, featuring exclusively French musicians David Perian / Paul Guiot / Jean-Pierre Desvernois. Trademark quality Chappel sound. Nice dancefloor funk numbers, plenty of sampling. Perpetual beat" is a killer mid tempo groove, "Beat In Pop" is an uptempo funky track, "Rock Blues Timing" is a pop tune with female voices, "Tampico Beat" has a latin flavour and female voices too, and "Mon soleil et moi" is pop with lalala vocals. There are three other funky pop tunes on this album : "Le bal des vampires", "Pop idee fixe" and "Electric Baldan Piano", with lovely breaks. Recommended.
