Perception 7 RARE '70 all wah wah guitar laden 2 long instrumental psych jams under the guidance of 60's psych  producer, guitarist legend Jimmy Curtiss. Titles: "Melodic Variations In D Minor" and "Rhythmic Variations In E Major. This LP sounds like it should have come out on Crown or Alshire in '67 performed by unknown studio musicians wigging out on the chemicals of the day. I have never found another copy since I found this 25+ years ago. Google search produces zip. Jimmy Curtiss has a history: had a few 45s on Laure from '65-'67, in particular, one called "Psychedelic Situation", went on to work on LPs for the HOBBITS and THE BAG on Decca, VELVET NIGHT and the JON BARTEL THING. Then he started the eclectic Perception label. However the sites I found don't seem to know this LP existed. If you enjoy those budget label instrumental guitar psych LPs, this IS a true find. Somewhere, out there, there must be a pile of these getting dusty in an old warehouse. Or maybe the LPs get tossd in some $1 classical LP box by unknowing dealers.

Jacket Grade: NM- Little to no wear to cover art. No splits.
 
Record Grade: VG++ to NM- No visible play wear. some light surface marks from lack of innersleeve. Plays NM-.
