UK ORIGINAL 1976 200 RUN PRIVATE PRESSING RECORDING WITH SUPERB FEMAL VOCALS AND ACID / PSYCHEDELIC THEME. THE SECOND RELEASE AND THE MOST CHERRISHED BY THOSE IN THE KNOW. “This is one of those "grower" LPs they talk about; I find myself liking it better with each play. I think its most remarkable aspect is the balance achieved between the moody folkpsych stuff that record collectors hallucinate just before going to sleep, and what you might call the sideshow material; the alehouse chants, the jigs & reels. In one way or another, the Hall couple managed to put together a complete and highly personal mosaic out of these pieces, whereas on most UK folk albums -- including some really good ones -- you may want to skip by a few tracks. CONDITION:

Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 turntable with an SME 312s tonearm and Koetsu Rosewood cartridge. All records are viewed under magnified light and cleaned on a wet vac cleaning machine  

We treat grading very seriously and use the UK Record Collector grading scale with the addition of a (+) or (– ) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. 

Record:

The surfaces feature a complete lustre, under angled magnified light.  The private press labels are clean showing light signs of use name written on side one. No rips, stickers or other blemishes. Light paper chaffing only.-  Condition grade visually = EX  (Excellent)

Cover:

The Unlaminated cover is in presentable order Sticker removal damage top right, small name  written on the B/C middle (Could be removed) All seams straight and true. The back cover retains much of it’s original whiteness. = VG+ (Very Good Plus)

Grading Guide:

Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

NEAR MINT: Very close to Mint with only the slightest signs of play and the very lightest paper chaffing only to the surfaces of the record. The cover shows only the very slightest wear

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Packaging:

Records within the inner sleeve will be removed from the cover and sandwiched between professional card stiffeners then inserted into a protective plastic sleeve. This package is then placed within a professional cruciform record mailer (N.B: We do not use cheap mailers)

Any record sold with a value in excess of £10 will be shipped with a minimum of a signature requirement upon delivery. Please note that Box sets due to weight may cost more than £4 to ship (In this instance the true cost of shipping will be added to your eBay purchase invoice).
