I am a believer in post-rock having variety, as many critics say it can go no further. This record proves it can. Very layered, with parts of heavy distortion and crashing drums that contrast with many ambient, soft moments. Standout moments include "the raven" and my personal favorite "Sycamore" A track that Caspian have been using as a set closer for a while, and wanted to get on record. Fittingly, it closes Tertia. Although i prefer the live version, this one works just as well in ending a supurb album. 1
