CASALS & SERKIN- 3 LP Box Set: CASALS FESTIVAL / Columbia 6-Eye SL-201 / Cello

Offered is one of the great Classical Music releases from the Columbia "6 Eye" Label,  Casals Festival / Beethoven: Sonatas for Cello and Piano (complete) / Seven Variations in E-Flat on "Bei Mannern, Welche Liebe Fuhlen" (from Mozart's "The Magic Flute") / Twelve Variations in F Major on "Ein Madchen Oder Weibchen, " Op. 66 (from Mozart's "The Magic Flute" / Pablo Casals, Cello / Rudolph Serkin, Piano.

THE VINYL :  VG+ :  Each of the 3 LP's has its own "ML" Number :  ML 4876 (2D / 2K Stampers), ML 4877 (3AD / 2K Stampers), and ML 4878 (2C / 2D Stampers).

All 3 records retain much of their original gloss with some spindlewear / present are a number of light marks, including scuffs and hairlines. 

There are no deep marks, with the exception of one side of 4878 (31204) that has a deep 2" scratch on the face. The needle plays through that scratch, but with a audible "tick" making that side a G grade.

THE BOX SET COVER :  VG :  While the spine is intact, both the top and bottom seams are completely split. There is some age-related yellowing to the primarily white cover, with some minor scuffing & wrinkles.

Each of the 3 LP's has 2 sleeves:  the conventional Columbia paper inner sleeve, and a heavier cardboard sleeve (see photos).  For the protection of the records, I have placed each LP into an audiophile (plastic-lined) inner sleeve. The original cardboard and paper inner sleeves will be included in the mailer.
