Description

From 1969, and is their very first release (before the release of their first #1 BILLBOARD hit "(They Long To Be) Close To You" in June of 1970), this item is Carpenters', "Ticket To Ride (written by J. Lennon and P. McCartney) / Your Wonderful Parade", A&M 1142. Old store stock copy. The record itself is in a beautiful NEAR MINT~UNPLAYED condition with its original shiny/glossy, mirror-like playing surface. The labels are in NEAR MINT condition with only some extremely light traces. The record is housed in its original stock A&M paper sleeve shown in the picture. See my "About Me" page for my grading scale. ALL my 45 RPM's and Picture Sleeves are housed in their own individual 7" protective plastic sleeves. In the case of a 45 RPM having a Picture Sleeve the 45 RPM is housed in a 7" white paper sleeve. My 45 RPM's have been kept separate from their Picture Sleeves since I purchased them. Also, in most cases where there is not a Picture Sleeve, my 45 RPM's are housed in their original company paper sleeve.     ALL records are shipped in heavy-duty cardboard boxes specially designed for 45 RPM's to insure safe delivery. ALL insurance on USPS shipments (No International insurance available) must be requested by the BUYER. Seller is not responsible for uninsured shipments.
