CARAVAN – CARAVAN LP
This is an original “PILLAR” sleeve STEREO copy of Caravan’s fabulous debut album released on VERVE FORECAST (SVLP 6011) in 1969. The flip-back sleeve has, understandably for its 36 year vintage, a little light ring-wear and laminate creasing and a couple of small stains front top and left corner (see photo) whilst the vinyl is lovely and glossy (with just the usual and inevitable few light surface sleeve lines which should not affect play). Overall, I would say this is a very acceptable example of this increasingly rare and much sought after album. One not to be missed !

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED – As a record collector for many years, I know only too well that, despite the various systems now used, grading remains largely subjective, everyone essentially having their own ideas as to what NM-, EX+, VG++ etc. should mean ! Instead, I try to describe each individual record (via a visual inspection) as honestly and accurately as I can – perhaps to the point of being overly critical, as even new records, let alone those of 30-40 year vintage, can have some marks ! However, if your standards are even higher and you are genuinely unhappy with my assessment, a refund of the purchase price will be given upon return of the record within 14 days, at buyer’s expense, in the same condition as sent. Please bear in mind that many (if not most !) vinyl records usually have at least one or two light surface marks (lines/scuffs/grazing) mainly from their paper inner-sleeves. As these do not normally affect play at all, such slight imperfections may not necessarily be specifically mentioned in the item description. Should you require clarification/confirmation on any point which might be of importance to you, please ask before placing a bid. Whilst, of course, no extra charge is made for payments via PayPal, it would be very much appreciated if buyers, especially those within the UK could, wherever possible, make payment by other methods to help minimise costs. P&P rates quoted always include an additional element to reflect the extra expense of proper vinyl record packaging. All albums are sent in new custom LP mailers with additional stiffeners/padding as necessary for secure shipment. However, as no responsibility can be accepted for items lost or damaged in transit, postal insurance is strongly recommended. This is an extra 70p UK and £3.50 ROW (up to £30 value) and £3.50 UK/ £4.50 ROW (over £30 value).
