A: Leave Me Alone

[WARE 6002, US]

"Leave Me Alone" is a legendary and super gritty garage punker that has been comped on "Teenage Shutdown Vol. 14", "Pebbles Vol. 10" and on "Boulders Vol. 2". One of the all-time greats and here you have it on its MEGA RARE original US release. The canadian issue on Apex Records is from the year after the Ware release. The Canadian Squires was the same band that later evolved into Levon & The Hawks and later The Band. Both sides on this 45 are written by Robbie Robertson. Nice white DJ copy!

Vinyl condition: HAVE A LISTEN BELOW! (it's very hard to put a grade on this record. the "Leave Me Alone" side has got some nasty looking scratches, but it plays amazingly well despite them. "Leave Me Alone" is included in its entirety in the soundclip below, so what you hear is exactly what you're going to get. The "Uh-Uh-Uh" side looks better. If I had to give this record a grading it would be VG- for the a-side and VG+ for the b-side, but it plays a lot better than that.)
