This is one of the very first to be issued from an initial batch of just 700 with no Howard Devoto credit on the sleeve and plastic moulded labels. With this release the Buzzcocks became one of the first punk bands to self-finance and release their own record, this trend was to become increasingly popular during the punk era. Howard Devoto decided to quit the band just 2 weeks after its release. Tiredness and ill health were the reasons but he later returned with his own band Magazine a year later. It remains one of the best punk releases ever with 4 amazing killer punk tracks: Breakdown, Boredom, Friends of mine, Time's up. A legendary single and a must for collectors!
