RARE WHITE LABEL PROMO OF 1ST PRESSING OF SELF-TITLED "BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD" LP (MONO- ATCO SD 33-200)w/ "BABY DON'T SCOLD ME" track instead of "FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH". in NR-MINT -MINT condition.!!!! Yup, this is a near perfect 1st pressing of the debut Buffalo Springfield LP with "Baby Don't Scold Me' instead of "For What its Worth". As quickly as "For What Its Worth" ascended the charts, "Baby Don't Scold Me' was yanked as an LP track and replaced with the group's first hit. To add to the rarity of this copy is the fact that it's a PROMO COPY(label states "sample copy-not for resale")with just a plain WHITE ATCO label. How it ended up the way I found it (with some of the original cellophane) is a mystery to me. The cover still has a store price sticker on it, as well as the small hole in the upper left-hand corner like many 60's promo records. Best of all, is the condition of the record- It looks UNPLAYED!. There are NO SCRATCHES on the record and only a harmless scuff when it was removed from the paper insert a few times. This is a beautiful copy of a rather rare collectible.
