This auction is for the advance test cover also known as the "script cover".  The artwork was redesigned for the final release.  There is no printing on the cover anywhere except for the artist and title.

Cover Condition: The gatefold cover is generally beautifully fresh and clean. 

Record Condition: Both sides of the record look great.  Side 1 has a light surface line across 2 tracks that you can see if you tilt the record to the light a certain way.  We doubt that it can heard when played. There are a few light spindle trails on side 1.  There are none on side 2.  It appears that side 1 might have been played once or twice but side 2 was probably not played at all.

Special note:The white areas of the cover are bright and clean.  Our photos show some dark areas and that was caused by shadows picked up by the digital camera.

This record came from a private collection of a disc jockey who was on the air for over 35 years.  He was originally given this record in 1975 and the album has sat on the shelf ever since.  It is an exceptionally nice copy of this rarity.

Please note that there are no other sheets or information that were received originally.  It is the advance test cover and the white label record inside of a blank white inner sleeve.  The gatefold cover has an open pocket on each side.  The front cover pocket is empty.  The back cover pocket has the record.
