Bruce Springsteen "Born To Run" Test Pressing

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Columbia 33795 from 1975.     This would be THE very first pressing of this great album.   It is a test pressing which came in a unique cover.     The title and his name are printed in scrip at the top right.    The cover does not have the lyrics printed inside the gatefold.   The picture of Bruce inside the gatefold is much larger than on the regular issue.   There is no printing on the spine.    There is no Columbai logo on the back cover.   And there is no printing at the bottom of the back cover.    The labels say "Advance Promotional".     The music is the same as the regular stock issue.     This record does not have any of the extra's that are listed in the price guides.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG /  Record is VG+

The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG+, with light background static at the very beginning.   There are no scratches or pops.     There is light paper scuffs and handling scuffs.      The gatefold cover is VG with no writing and no seam splits.   The front cover has light wear on Bruce's photo and partial ring wear at top and right.    The back side has ring wear on the white background and two small stains.    The labels are perfect with no spindle marks.  The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.  The matrix numbers are : Side 1 : P AL-33795-1A  and Side 2 : P BL-33795-1A.

The songs are : Thunder Road, Tenth Avenue Freeze-out, Nigth, Backstreets, Born to Run, She's The One, Meeting Across The River, and Jungleland.

I will package this record between two pieces of 1/2 inch cardboard (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.   Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )  It will weigh 20 ounces ( 1 pound, 4 ounces ) when ready to ship.   You can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or First Class Mail International for overseas.    I will remove the record from the cover when I mail it.   I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.   And I will let you know when I receive your payment and when I have mailed your record.  This record is from a no smoking, no pets home.   Insurance is recommended on this record.
