Bruce Springsteen Blinded By Light PLAYBACK PROMO '73

Up for auction is a broken copy of Bruce Springsteen doing “Blinded By The Light”. This was issued on the Columbia Records labelas a PLAYBACK release. Record number AS 45. The flip side is by Andy Pratt. I debated selling this item as it’s unplayable but it seems the inserts and extras are in demand. This would be a great addition to someone who owns this release but does not have the assorted extras which came with this original release. You will receive the following,

1) Playback outer factory mailer. Split on side as to not destroy top sealing flap. Has address from Kirkland, WA. State which is near Seattle. Has some wear on bottom seam. Looks clean and bright. Grades VG or nicer.

2) Fourteen page Playback booklet has overall light wear. Light creases near top right corner. Grades VG+ or nicer.

3) Playback prepaid mailer questionnaire “Feedback” form or insert. Has questions regarding enclosed artist. Has light crease down center, small crease near top right. Looks clean and bright and grades VG+. This piece is even more rare than the vinyl.

4) 7” by 7” square grey colored cardboard mailer insert. Used for protective strength. Small dents in corners.

5) Playback record sleeve is clean, bright and looks pretty close to near new. Grades VG++ or nicer.

6) Vinyl pressing of record, has a major break which goes through entire record. As if broken in half. Also has two or three small breaks on separate part of vinyl. This looks like it happened by the US Postal Service years ago upon delivery. And since this is two years before the Born To Run LP was released, who would of bothered to request a replacement? Record label looks nice. Vinyl grades UNPLAYABLE AND BROKEN.
