Bruce Springsteen 1995 Orig US The Ghost Of Tom Joad LP One Defective Track READ

Up for sale is a copy of Bruce Springsteen's 1995 The Ghost Of Tom Joad on vinyl, original US pressing from Columbia Records C67484, matrix runout AL-67484 1B/BL-67484 1A. This is a nice example of the record and a domestic issue. A great copy for a record scarcely seen and only pressed (I believe) in America, Netherlands, and Spain at the time of release.
The record itself plays beautifully but I grade it as a VG: Every track is perfect without interruption and flawless (READ AND SEE PHOTO) except for where there was a factory pressing error (pictured in photos) on Side B Track 1, during "Balboa Park" that creates a loop/disturbance during a portion of the track that requires adjusting your tone arm past in order to play the rest of track. I have cleaned and play tested the record before listing. Best to either start Side 2 after this track and skip it, or play and then manually adjust your tonearm past the defect spot and hear the rest of the track and Side 2.

Because of this, I have started the auction very low and believe it is up to the buyer alone to determine the value of this LP in this condition. It still no doubt holds value and is of use to someone in search of this scarce album. Let alone for a collector who seeks original pressings of rare records merely for visual/acquisitory appreciation and not playing the LP. That being said, every track on this LP and the record in general plays phenomenal and without issue except for "Balboa Park." Since this clearly is an inconvenience for big time Boss fans and lovers of this album, I will gratuitously include the cd collection booklet for Album Collection Volume 1 along with it.

In a way, this is a huge plus for someone wanting an original pressing of the LP and a good chance to seize it at a lower-than-usual price. I saw a few listed this week for over $100. A good opportunity to acquire this scarce LP at much lower than that price point.

The inner sleeve is awesome and full of life with only minor wear, still properly houses the record. Cool photos of Bruce! The album cover jacket itself is VG+/EX with slight creases here and there but overall little wear to it and very rich color.
