Description
Dark red label with silver text, deep groove, mono. Recorded in 1962 in Copenhagen, Denmark. 8 tracks. Moore, leader, tenor sax; Bent Axen, piano; Neils-Henning Orsetd Pedersen, bass; William Schiopffe, drums on all tracks. Lars Gullin, baritone sax on 2 tracks; Sahib Shihab, alto sax on 2 tracks; Louis Hjulmand, vibes on 2 tracks.
Cover: VG(-) Aging scotch tape repair on all sides of the jacket. 3 small tears and a light red stain on the surface of the back cover. Light aging on the back cover.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are a small number of extremely light, brush-like rub marks on Side 1. These do not effect the sound. In spite of the cover reapir, etc., the record appears to have been played only a very few times. There are a few scattered clicks. A few of these repeat at the end of Trac 2, Side 2 for a short interval. Otherwise the record plays like new. Please note that I have added the "VG++" to adjust for the noise described but most of the record plays close to Mint. It has been graded conservatively. Audibly checked.
