This listing is for a nice original pressing of the hip hop classic Criminal Minded by Boogie Down Productions. This is the debut album from the trio and the only one released on B Boy Records before they issued a lawsuit for none payment of royalties, so a real must for hip hop collectors.

All of my records are play tested on a Technics SL-1200 with a Grado GF3 stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players. Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG/VG+ Very close to VG+ overall. Side 1 is easily VG+ only a few hairline marks when viewed under a bright light. On Side 2 there are a couple of larger light scratches but not deep enough to affect play. The glossy finish has dulled somewhat so a machine clean would probably benefit here. The rare golden labels are in superb condition with no damage or pen marks with just a few spindle marks under a bright light.
Record Audio - VG+ There is some surface noise on run in and on quieter moments but does not interfere with playback for the most part. I think the record is crying out for a machine clean as the finish is quite dull. However still an enjoyable listen with nice clear sound quality. Vocals are very much at the forefront, barely any production just raw DJ and MC, a real step away from more modern hip hop.
Record Sleeve - VG+ Still retains original seal apart from the opening to remove the record so sleeve is in superb condition. Only light shelf wear on the corners exposed. Record comes in a plain white inner which is in good condition.
