Description
Up for auction is a rare U.S. psych, sitar inspired acid sounding LP. Titled, Rainbow by Bobby Callender. This is a U.S. Mono “DJ” copy. Has MGM yellow “Special Disc Jockey Record” center label. Vinyl is VG++ and cover jacket is VG+ to VG++.
Visually vinyl has very light small lines or light scuffs. Still retains great shine, sheen and high gloss. Plays loud, crisp, clear and for the most part, clean. There is a few tics noticed in a few of the quieter parts. Grades VG++ or better on playback. MGM E4557 on yellow center label. Label has light age wear and near new center hole.

Cover has slight to some age wear. Light to some ring wear noticed near top on front and back cover. Has “KLEIN” written with black felt pen on back. Spine, seams and corners look fine with light shelf wear noted. Has “DJ” sticker on front. Cover grades VG+ to VG++ due to age wear on writing on back. A great psych classic which is hard to find as a DJ MONO copy.

Thanks to a buyer's question, I realized I also have the original insert that came with the album. It does show some yellowing to the paper on either side. The picture I added shows the worse of the two. There are lyrics on either side. There is no rips, tears or bends of the paper. Only issue is the age wear and yellowing.
