Description
This is the incredibly rare 1st pressing of the Wailers (Bob Marley) album "Catch A Fire" on Island ILPS 9241 released in 1973 featuring the unique Zippo lighter sleeve. The 1st pressings of this seminal album did of course feature the pink rimmed Island label (see photo).
The album is in excellent condition with hardly a mark on the vinyl and the labels are excellent. The Zippo sleeve is showing some wear but the hinge is intact and the top opens as easily as the day it was manufactured. I never over-grade my albums and because of the wear and tear, I will grade the sleeve as very good.
