Here are TWO PROMOTIONAL RECORDS from the GREAT BOB DYLAN. As you probably know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS were ONLY released by record companies to the radio stations and DJs for airplay. They were produced in very small/limited quantities and were NOT made available for sale to the general public; therefore, many promotional records have become highly sought after by vinyl collectors and fans of certain recording artists/bands.

PROMO RECORD #1:

“LAY LADY LAY” b/w “PEGGY DAY” by Bob Dylan
This is Columbia Records 4-444926.
It was released in 1969.
It has WHITE PROMOTIONAL LABELS on both sides.
The side with “Lay Lady Lay” was designated by Columbia Records as the A-Side for DJs to play designated by the large blue “A” on the label. It is definitely one of Bob Dylan’s “signature” tunes.
There is NO STEREO designation printed on a label, so both sides must be in MONO (Monaural).
“NOT FOR RESALE RADIO STATION COPY” is printed on both labels.
There is also printing on the labels that state that both songs are “From the Columbia LP ‘NASHVILLE SKYLINE’ - KCS 9825”
The VINYL is in NEAR MINT CONDITION with just a few extremely light hairlines/scuffs (like Near Mint Minus but Goldmine doesn’t have that grade.)
The PROMO LABELS are CLEAN and WHITE with NO writing, NO tears, NO stickers or tape and NO sticker stains.

PROMO RECORD #2:

“WATCHING THE RIVER FLOW” b/w “WATCHING THE RIVER FLOW” by Bob Dylan
This is Columbia Records 4-45409.
It was released in 1971.
It has WHITE PROMOTIONAL LABELS on both sides.
There is NO STEREO designation printed on a label, so both sides must be in MONO (Monaural).
“NOT FOR RESALE RADIO STATION COPY” is printed on both labels.
The VINYL is in NEAR MINT CONDITION with just a few extremely light hairlines/scuffs (like Near Mint Minus but Goldmine doesn’t have that grade.)
The PROMO LABELS are CLEAN and WHITE with NO writing, NO tears, NO stickers or tape and NO sticker stains.

Both records come with generic Columbia stock sleeves which may be the correct sleeves for these pressings.

FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (P for Poor, F for Fair, G for Good, G+ for Good Plus, VG- for Very Good Minus, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade this sleeve and record, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
