See all my pictures! This is an original and highly sought after white label promotional copy of Bob Dylan's first self titled LP on Columbia 1986. Labels are black with white print and are in Near Mint- condition. Hope you understand my reserve, since I bought this many years ago (and have kept it hermetically sealed since then).
Grab this while you can, a tough one for Dylan collectors. See description below; sorry about the timing strip, but it was NOT my doing!
See my feedback; my only negative feedback is due to retaliation by a seller because of negative feedback I left for that seller. Note that I use Goldmine Grading and I do not use the EX grade so my VG+ = EX to EX+. I grade conservatively.
The Labels The labels are Near Mint-. Never was any writing or any price sticker on either side of the labels. I say NM- because there are a few spindle marks noticeable. A truely beautiful example of this Beast! The real deal! Read on!
The Vinyl: The vinyl looks a nice VG (EX-) with light signs of careful play and paper marks. No problems, plays VG+ (EX).
The Cover: The cover is VG. It used to have the timing strip that listed the alternative songs. Someone (not me!) tore about 90% of the timing strip off the cover. But, as you can see in my photos, the remnants of the timing strip show this was the original wlp with the wrong songs on the timing strip since the song times listed on the remnants of the timing strip obviously do not match the times of the songs listed on the record! Good detective work, Wright! Corners each show wear; top seam has about a 2 1/2 inch split top right; bottom seam is worn. The spine is STRONG but has a very small round white sticker that nobody wrote on and is probably removeable. This is OH SO Cool!
