Description

An original 1st Stereo press of JWH on the UK CBS label. Matrix 2/2. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Upton printed cover [1st issue] with a gold stereo sticker on the rear. Also included is original CBS inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with super clarity. I'm often a bit disappointed with JWH copies...many copies just aren't well enough preserved to leave the audio unhindered. But this copy delivers a nigh on perfect rendition and I cannot give it high enough praise. Interference is only detectable in one short section. All I could detect were a few crackles at around the 1min mark in 'Dear Landlord' - brief and over pretty quickly. But that was really all that is vaguely noticeable. A very impressive clean rendition for the most part....
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front without creasing and just a tiny amount of laminate lift along the spine edge - as is almost obligatory! The rear, which often suffers badly, is in really well preserved condition and barely any ageing at all. Edge wear is very light for this title and the spine is 100% intact.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. No splits though.
