Bob Dylan - GREAT WHITE WONDER 2XLP - Original Bootleg
Bob Dylan's Great White Wonder. Original 1969 TMQ bootleg, 2XLP. Dead wax matrixes: GF-001, GF-002, GF-003, GF-004. First off one of the records has considerable warps (side 3 & 4, see last photos), sides 1 & 2 are just fine. The vinyl itself grades as EX for both records. The previous owner has handwritten the tracks on the white center labels. The photos above and below are of the actual records. I am starting the auction low at 99 cents so you collectors can determine the value.Great White Wonder, or GWW, is the first notable rock bootleg album, released in July 1969 and containing unofficially released recordings by Bob Dylan. It is also the first release of the famous bootleg record label Trademark of Quality (or TMQ). Several of the tracks presented here were recorded with the Band in the summer of 1967 in West Saugerties, New York, during the informal sessions that were later released in a more complete form in Dylan's 1975 album The Basement Tapes. Much of the other material consists of a recording made in December 1961 in a Minnesota hotel room (referred to as the "Minnesota hotel tape"), studio outtakes from several of Dylan's albums, and a live performance on The Johnny Cash Show. It was the first time that these previously unheard of recordings came to the market; many more would be released in similar formats over the coming years, though most were single albums, not double albums like this record.

*GRADING (Record/ Cover)
Records are visually graded, conservatively:
Mint (M): The album is still in new condition, no imperfections, a perfect copy.
Near Mint (NM): The album shows no visible signs of wear or damage that will affect sound quality. Very little, almost imperceptible wear-- full vinyl gloss.
Excellent (EX): There may be slight ring or cover wear, the cover may have minor seam splitting or the vinyl may have light visual marks. There could be slight surface sound.
Very Good (VG): While wear may be visible on the cover or vinyl, the record should play without skipping or repeating. Surface noise noticeable but does not really affect the playing.
Good (G): Wear and scuffs are more evident and many surface noises are noticeable.
