Original Columbia Records promotional release of Bob Dylan’s 4th studio album “Another Side of Bob Dylan” whose commercial release occurred on August 8, 1964. This promotional issue was sent to radio stations several months before the album’s official release date. Original 1st print cover contains a “Columbia Records Radio Station Service Not For Resale” timing strip sticker with the “CL 2193” catalog number. The back cover contains the “7” number at the bottom right corner identifying that the cover was printed by the Modern Album in Terre Haute, IN. Special promotional Columbia Records “Radio Station Copy – Not For Resale” white labels with the “CL 2193” catalog number and 2¾” pressing ring. The promotional vinyl pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Terre Haute, IN and mastered by Customatrix, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Columbia Records and CBS, Inc., as identified by the “T” and “o” symbols in the runout grooves, contains the earliest for this issue matrix numbers with the -A 1 1 mother stampers: Side 1 – oXLP-77042-2B; Side 2 – o XLP-77043-2F A I I T. It’s impossible to find a promotional copy of this album in such a pristine condition with the vinyl looking as if it hasn't been played, perhaps only a couple of times. The album comes with the original white-grey striped inner sleeve with the Columbia Records logo at the center.

The cover is graded as somewhere between Excellent Plus and Near Mint Minus. It's very clean, only having some very light age discoloration and foxing along the edges of the back cover. The top right corner of the back cover has a small blank white sticker. The cover doesn't have any ring wear, shelf wear, writing, residue, soiling, splits or scuffs. The original Columbia inner sleeve is in Near Mint Minus condition. The glossy vinyl has a stunning factory lacquer and looks as if it has been played maybe only a couple of times. It's graded visually as Near Mint for Side 1 and Mint Minus for Side 2. The Mint Minus labels are super clean and don't have any spindle marks, scuffs or wear. The vinyl plays great only having some light occasional static and background noise, which becomes more noticeable during the quiet parts and most likely could get reduced or go away if the record was professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
