Description
Here’s one of the rarest Bob Dylan albums in existance! This is a CBS “3-eye” logo copy of Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits. Information is somewhat shaky on these pressings, but it is believed they were made for export to foreign countries, including Singapore and Malasya. The album came out on the Columbia label in America, but due to some complicated legal matters, CBS and Columbia emerged as completely separate companies outside of the US. Therefore, this label has a third CBS logo taking the place of the commonly-seen “Columbia” lettering at the top of the label. Interestingly, this is the much rarer variation with black print at the bottom of the label and white background inside the CBS logo boxes! The vinyl grades a full-gloss, strong VG. I played it start to finish and it plays with some crackle here and there, no skips. The cover is in nice shape, no seam splits, tape, writing or other distracting problems.
