Description
You are bidding on an extremely rare record.
I listened to it with and without headphones on to get the most accurate description possible. I love jazz and I am selling this record because I already have a copy.
The sound is warm, detailed and very dynamic. Coltrane was a virtuoso and Van Gelder was a great sound engineer!
It is a master piece of a jazz record in a stunning condition for its age. You would not believe that this record is more than 50 years old!
Front Sleeve: very neat gloss
back sleeve is immaculate (with age related patina)
No split or tear.
The bottom left corner is a bit worned, see pictures.
No blue note inner sleeve. the record is protected by an antistatic Master Sleeve.
Overall, I would grade the sleeve VG+ because of the lack of original inner sleeve.

Visually the record is unbelievably well preserved. I would rate it as exc only because as far as the label is concerned there is a faint blue smudge on the white. The vinyl is near to spotless and only shows 2 hairlines when inspected under light. These do not affect the sound at all.
Slide 1 only has a deep groove. Dead wax on both sides present the "ear", "RVG" mark and "9M"
