ALL RECORDS ARE TESTED ON MY TRUSTY AIWA TURNTABLE AND GOOD QUALITY JVC AMP . THIS DOES ONLY HAVE A STD BASS AND TREBLE CONTROL . I LIKE TO USE THIS AS IT PICKS UP EVEN THE VERY SLIGHTEST BIT OF NOISE SO I KNOW I CAN DESCRIBE EVERY LP CORRECTLY ETC . I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT PLAYED ON BETTER OR TOP QUALITY SYSTEMS WITH GREATER AND MORE TECHNICAL SOUND CONTROL ETC , THESE RECORDS WILL SOUND A LOT BETTER THAN I HAVE DESCRIBED . I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I OFTEN GIVE RECORDS ANOTHER QUICK PLAY ON THE FIRST COUPLE OF TRACKS ON MY PERSONAL TOP QUALITY PIONEER SYSTEM AND I DO FIND THAT MOST OF ANY NOISES LIKE CRACKLE ETC ARE MUCH MUCH QUIETER , SOME EVEN HARDLY SOUND AT ALL . I TEST EVERY RECORD AND FIND THAT MY AIWA WILL COVER MANY OTHER SIMILAR SET UPS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE , I DID WANT TO JUST POINT THIS OUT , THANK YOU .
Please note that i do tend to use " Very Good Condition " for most of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . The only exception to this is if the record does have scratches and lots of marks etc but is very rare and collectable and will be described in great detail . I never use " Mint " or " Near Mint " unless the record is unopened from it's original shrink wrap and is clearly unplayed . Even with these i am wary because if the record has been stored for years in maybe a damp garage or loft etc and has not been opened , then we can only presume it should be mint because we obviously can't actually see the record . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is why i use Very Good most of the times . This is also why i do go into great detail with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use " Excellent Condition " sometimes , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much at all , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest and small surface marks only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent . Lots of my records as you can see by my feedback are better than described , more better than very good and closer to near ( if not ) excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , this is why i do use mainly " Very Good " but with very detailed descriptions also of which i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , but as i say please do check my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .
Blue Oyster Cult Fire Of Unknown Origin UK LP 1981 + Inner Pro Cleaned A1/B1 Corrected Matrix . On UK CBS sunburst paper labels S CBS 85137 . This one is the early corrected matix variant . A Side run off is CBS S etched , then 86135 etched which is scratched out , then CBS S 85137 A1 machine stamped , there is also what looks like a V and whats looks like either a " c " or " n " or " o " , there is also Tim Tom etched . B side run off is CBS S etched , then 86135 etched which is scratched out , then B1 etched , there are just the numbers 85137 above the scratched out numbers with no CBS etc , there are the same single letters and also what could be Y4 or similar , but this really is smalland hard to make out , i couldn't see Tim Tom etched on this side .
COVER: Non laminated glossy cover generally in a very strong very good overall condition very nice and clean . Would have been closer to near ( if not actually ) excellent overall , but there has been a little inking in in places on the top corners and possibly in a few places on the top edge , this though is light only and been done neatly in a very very close matching colour and a few mostly fine hairline line marks in places , please do read the full description below .
FRONT FACE: Very nice and clean overall . A very few usual but small and light surface crease lines in places round the outer edges , mainly on the top edge , but as i say , any are very light only . A very very few very light and very small general surface marks in places , there is one large very fine hairline line mark and two or three other smaller but still fine ones in places , these are similar to very fine and light fingernail type single line marks but being fine hairline only , in fact they are only really seen when held to a certain angle to the light . There is a very very small bit of the inking in i mentioned visible on the top corners which has very slightly gone onto the front face , i think i have shown this in the photos . There is a very faint small impression only of a previous price obviously written in biro on a sticker , but this is just a light imprint only and not on the cover itself , it also really is only noticed when held to a certain angle to the light , i could not see any signs of a previous sticker so this was obviously removed very carefully etc . There are really hardly any signs of a ringwear mark at all ! . Overall very nice .
TOP / BOTTOM MAIN EDGES: ( Not Including Corners And Right Next To Corners Please See Corner Description ) . TOP EDGE: Just a very little bit of very light rub wear , as i say i think but am not 100% sure if this edge has been slightly inked in by a previous owner , but if so then it has been done very neatly and the colour is virtually identical ,it's hard to tell because the colour is not uniform and has slightly different shades to it , either way it is hardly noticeable on the main part of the edge . BOTTOM EDGE: Just some very light rub wear , mainly towards the corners , but as i say light only .
MAIN SPINE EDGE: ( Not Including Corners And Right Next To Corners Please See Corner Description ) . A very strong very good overall . A very very few extremely light and extremely small light dent wear spots in odd places . All text is legible and still bold and bright , though the CBS at the top is not quite central , there is no obvious rub wear evident . As i said earlier , again a very little bit of the inking in is visible on the top where it has very slightly spread onto the spine .
OPENING EDGES: Just some usual but very very light and small fray / dent / useage wear on the outer edges on the front and rear , anything really just consistent with age and general use , but really very little . 
CORNERS: Some usual but mostly light only fray / dent wear mainly on the top corners , most being confined to the tip ends  and mostly on the top right corner , this corner does also have a very slight angle to it , as if the very tip end is missing , but this is very slight and i think it is more of rounding to the tip end . As i said earlier , the top corners have been inked in but this has been done in a very similar colour and as i say just on the tips , though some has inevitably slightly spread onto the edges in places .There is the often seen pierced hole visible on the bottom left corner , but this is from how the cover was put together and not due to any wear or neglect etc , again most is really just consistent with age and use etc .  
REAR: Still a strong very good overall . A few mostly very light general surface marks in places and there are some ( more than the front ) again fine light hairline surface single line marks in places and one slightly heavier scratch line , but this is not excessive or overly large at all and is still surface , there is also one more visible but still light single line mark towards the bottom right corner and a very little bit of very light rubbing in places on the top edge , mainly towards the left corner . This probably sounds worse than it is , but again , lots of these fine hairlines are only seen when held to a certain angle to the light , they are obviously slightly more noticeable on the rear due to the mainly dark and black colours . There are a couple of very small dent spots near the centre and a very few usual surface crease lines in places round the outer edges , mainly on the top edge ( one larger one on the top edge ) . There again are very little signs of a ringwear mark visible .
PICTURE / ADVERTISING INNER PAPER SLEEVE: Generally in good overall condition with no seam splits . A very few light and small general surface / age related / handling marks . I will say that there are oddly , quite a few browning spot marks and patches on the seam joins on the edges and a few others in the one top corner on the inside of the sleeve . The usual but quite light ringwear marks with mainly just a quite light impression of the outer edge of the record visible , a little rubbing on the left side on the picture side and a few small very light bumps at approx 4 o'clock on the ringwear impression on the advertising side . There are some light surface crease marks / small dent marks in places and there are the usual but only slightly more prominent creases , mainly near the bottom corners caused by the outer edge of the record on and near the corners . There are also a couple of tiny creases tight into a couple of the corners , but these really are very small indeed and just near the tip ends . Some light normal useage wear on the top opening edges . To me it appears that at some point , parts of the flipbacks and possibly parts of the very outer edges only had become unglued near the bottom ( on the flipbacks ) and these have been reglued , i say this , as there is a visible old crease visible near each bottom corner on the flipbacks where they had obviously peeled back etc . The record was not in this picture inner when i got it but was in a plain white one , i have decided to replace this with a new plain white paper inner , but will obviously still send the original picture inner .
RECORD: The overall visual grade under normal household light conditions is a very very strong between very good and near excellent condition , even airing closer to the near excellent side overall with just some very light and very fine only hairline surface marks and a very few other slightly more noticeable but non feelable and still light and small general surface marks on both sides , most of the hairlines i will say are only visible under a light , there are no nasty large deep gouges etc . Actually i think that many people would class this as closer to near excellent overall . It plays perfectly crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really just some usual ( very very little indeed ) ultra occasional mega light odd bits of background only noise on some of the very quieter parts only , any of these really very very very few odd super light isolated bits of noise are each over very quickly indeed , are certainly not totally constant throughout the record and do not spoil any enjoyment whatsoever being very light only , to be honest the only bit of noise worthy of any real note was a tiny extremely light and very very brief bit of pops / crackle on the very quiet start of T1 S2 , hardly worth mentioning really and also again a short bit of light crackle on the quiet classical type start only of T3 S2 , again this was brief and just on the start only and a few ( four or five ) light only ticks as the music fades right at the very end and onto the run off of the last track on S2 . Other than these very few light ticks , i think i heard three or four very light odd isolated ones . Other than this , actually the vast majority of this one does play virtually noise free on the music ! . There are obviously some usual and often louder noises heard on the silent run ins/offs and silent track changeover lines , though i must say that even most of these were quite quiet indeed . This record on the music really does still play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still truely awesome . There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a great overall shine . Both labels are near excellent , nice and clean , writing free , with just a very few usual but very light and small spindle marks on both labels . Bar the very little bit of mentioned very brief light noise in the couple of places , there really is hardly anything to report on this one on the music , any ( really very very very little indeed ) of the other very odd bits of noise on the music were ultra light background only and mega occasional as i say and any being over super quick . I really can't stress enough how good this one plays and sounds overall ! . I do hope i haven't made this out to be worse than it is , as overall it is still a very nice example and certainly one of the better sounding ones overall , it's just that i like to be thorough with all my descriptions , but can sometimes be a little OTT . All in all a very nice overall example of this now very collectable item together with super overall sound , do turn this one up and enjoy ! . Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch .

Please note, all records are packed in proper pro card mailers with a minimum of 3 stiffeners for non GF LP’s and 2 for 7" singles ( more if i think they are needed ) . CD’s , Cassettes and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. These are also taped with brown parcel tape along all edges and seams for added protection.
Please note that whilst ALL my LP's and 12" singles are now vacuum cleaned on my Project pro cleaning machine , i do not yet own a record cleaning machine arm for 7" and 10" records , so whilst virtually all of my records are generally all clean and have a very nice shine , there obviously maybe some small traces of dust particles from cleaning manually if this is needed , though most , i do like to leave as they are , as i try to be very picky with the quality of records i sell ( unless stated otherwise ie very rare but some marks etc ) . If this is the case then i would always advise a pro clean on a machine with a 7" and 10" arm thank you .
Please note that whilst I haven’t increased my postage charges for a very long time now , this now other recent price increase , has seen me , unfortunately , have to put a slight increase on my overall charges . This is also topped with the rise in cost for quality card mailers , jiffy bags , stiffeners and Ebays new 10% extra fee for postage costs to all sellers , but I do obviously want to still remain competitive and still offer my usual top quality service . Please also note that I now send ALL LP’s with a minimum of 3 stiffeners on all none GF LP's and all 7" singles with a minimum of 2 stiffeners . I do not agree with making money out of postage from people who are good enough to buy an item from me and would never enter into this practice , as you can see by my charges on all my items , after all the fees and costs etc , i never make anything from it and wouldn't want to , in fact in the end , i actually lose money on postage . For a quick example , i now charge £4.25p ( as from 25/3/19 ) to post an LP 1st class in the UK , you can check on the stamp and see that i paid £3.55p ( also as from 25/3/19 new RM charges ) , now you may well be thinking , hang on why haven't i charged £3.55p to you , when i say i do not make any money from postage ? . The reason for this is , there are many other costs involved with postage for me . Ebay firstly will charge me 10% of the postage i charge , in this case 43p , take this off what i charge and that comes to £3.82p which leaves 27p over . I have just topped up my mailers and stiffeners and i paid £28.00p for 50 mailers and 100 stiffeners , i also have to buy extra stiffeners because i send my LP's out with at least 3 ( but quite often 4 ) stiffeners which also are not cheap , so as you can see 1 mailer and 2 stiffeners cost me 56p , add on the price of another 2 stiffeners ( max ) plus also take into account Paypals percentages , who now i have just noticed have started to take 20p per item that are sold on Ebay plus their usual charges which craftily they work out on the whole cost of the deal , including the postage ! and other things like petrol etc . I am sorry for having to explain this , but i just thought you would like to see that any extra has gone as soon as the deal is done , so you can clearly see , i do not make any money at all from postage , in fact it's clear to see , i actually lose money , i would estimate that i actually lose about 55p to 65p just on postage , i totally understand this is my problem and no one is bothered about this in the slightest , but i just wanted to point out these facts and show you how i am not one of the many people who actually charge more than this for postage and don't even send the record in a proper mailer etc , please do see my feedback on my packing etc , thank you again for your time in reading this .
