LEE MORGAN "CORNBREAD" LP - On Blue Note Records, #84222. Scarce vintage jazz Lp. Stereo pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on the labels. "VAN GELDER" stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick cardboard cover. The personnel: Lee Morgan/trumpet; Jackie McLean/alto sax; Hank Mobley/tenor sax; Herbie Hancock/piano; Larry Ridley/bass; Billy Higgins/drums. The vinyl is in NM condition (beautiful gloss)!! Labels are spotless. The thick cardboard cover is in superb shape: bright and clean, still protected by the cellophane shrink wrap!! Has original department store price sticker by upper right corner on cellophane. Spine is virtually perfect and legible. There is a tiny bit of bottom rub wear on front where a little bit of shrink is missing. NO seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks of any kind. The front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York, N.Y. 10023. The songs are: Cornbread; Our Man Higgins; Ceora; Ill Wind; Most Like Lee.
