Description
Blue Note LP #4178 is Blue Mitchell with his Quintet of Junior Cook, Chick Corea, Gene Taylor, and ALoysious Foster. This particular collection that I will be slowly putting up in the coming months, is super clean. I've never seen a collection so clean. The spindle hole is very very clean. The grooves shine, they are so clean. It has the New Youk USA address on the label, Van Gelder and the ear are both pressed into the run-out grooves. The address on the jacket is 43 W 61st st, New York 23. There is written the number 3.98 and the number 4 written very small under the catalogue number on the back-upper R. There is some slight yellowing on the back, but otherwise...nearly perfect! You really won't believe it when you see it...it's that nice. The tunes are; Fungii Mama, Mona's Mood, The Thing to Do, Step Lightly, and Chick's Tune. See my other listings for more Blue Notes, Prestige, Riverside, etc...and some blues, too.
