Blue Note Records 4027 (mono) (made in USA) - Freddie Redd Quartet with Jackie McLean - the music from The Connection LP. This is a first pressing from 1960. There is a deep groove under both labels. "RVG" and "the ear" are stamped/etched in the dead wax. The address on the labels is "Blue Note Records Inc 47 West 63rd NYC". The address on the back cover is "Blue Note Records Inc., 43 West 61st St., New York 23, N.Y."

Personnel: Freddie Redd, piano; Jackie McLean, alto sax; Michael Mattos, bass; Larry Ritchie, drums.

The condition of the record is excellent VG+, there are light scratches on both sides, plays beautifully without skips or pops. There is a sticker on the side one label. The cover is in VG+ condition, the top seam is split for 5 inches from the open end. There is writing in pencil on the back cover; there is a tear on the back cover in the upper left corner (see scan).
